Like I mentioned yesterday, I was following a workshop by Priscilla Howe, on storytelling. It was very nice and I want to share with you her link and give you some informatin on what she talked about. One topic I really liked was the Imagination Game.
Magic Box:
Take an empty box with a lid. Open it secretively, and explain that something is happening in the box. Begin with something silly, such as “Oh! I see two chickens playing football in here. The crowed is going wild. The turtle just stole the ball and made a goal.”
Pass the box to the next person and ask what is going on in the box. does not have to be the same story.
It is a fun activity and I recommend it for elementary/primary children from 6 years onwards
