RSA Animate – Changing Education Paradigms

Something to watch…..

What happened…?

The intellect, the strenghth of one, the one that misjudged the gift given, given to maintain the balance, harmony and need, lead to selfish outbursts of uncontrolled overrated actions towards the one and the ones;

The one, seeking the power, trying to reach the top, using the ability to classify and select, paying with blood and tears, exploiting the ones, became greedy….

Now the ones, seeking to keep the balance, following the laws of nature, that all acts according to its natural set up, needs to evade, give in and accept.

???

Decisions…

Decisions were made to keep the balance, decisions were made to maintain the harmony, decisions were made to renew continiously, decisions were made to cater the need, … ,

What happened…???

SO….

So, Being in charge of taking care, so to say, making sure that everything is and shall be in an orderly and proper shape, does bring along various challenges…often it leads to non-thought-through decisions, fast executed actions and uncontrolled verbal outlets…not to speak of gestures, if well intended or rude…Hypocrisy is often the outcome…for self-protection or selfishness…Being in balance with what is important, being loved and being loving…truthful and honest, respecting the world around oneself does fulfill true happiness… leading to the right decisions, to take care of what was offered to look after…

So actually, life in its essence is offering all the necessities that are required in order to succeed. The gift and abilities that were given to us humans allow us to be successful. Yet, it seems to be misunderstood by the upright-walking beings that life has given this unique opportunity …  ???

Dear All,

One is always exposed to unmovable and frozen impressions, opinions and objects. These have, for good and for all, to be transformed into something organic, livable and emotional. Once this has been accomplished and put in place, set up and emerged out of the given, me, by its means and powers has the awesomeness and strength to be. Resting and accepting, leaving things the way they are, static and stiff, is, and always has been the beginning of the end.

Life

When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me

That happiness was the key to life.

When I went to school, they asked me

What I wanted to be when I grew up.

I wrote down “happy”.

They told me I didn’t understand the assignment.

I told them they didn’t understand life.

Oneness and Separetness

Great Book. Picture 14Closely observed and beautifully written, Oneness and Separetness is a study of the inner emotions and experiences of a child’s earliest life. Louise Kaplan explores the journey each baby makes from oneness with his mother to a “secound birth” as a unique psychological being who begins to comprehend the difference between “I” and “You”, “mine” and “yours”.

Baking bread with your child

With children you can do lovely things such as ‘baking bread’

It’s very simple and a lot of fun.For children under three year it is best when all the ingredients are pre-measured and put in little plastic beakers. It facilitates the pouring into the larger bowl. With older children, you can measure with them.

Ideal is to have all prepared on a little table, so any action the child will do is easy for them.

The following ingredients are needed:

  • 1 kg flour (i.e. whole grain)
  • 130 ml of warm water
  • One cube of yeast
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • One tablespoonful of sugar
  • Two tablespoonful of oil (i.e. sunflower oil)

And that’s how it’s done:

Ingredients: flour, oil, yeast, salt, sugar, warm water

Zutaten

All ingredients are purred into a large bowl.

Zutaten hinzufügen

Mix it well.

Alles gut verrühren

Cover the bowl with a large cloth and let rest for at least one hour.

Schüssel abdecken

After you put it in the oven for one hour…DONE!

Fertig!
